Ingredients
2.5 dl / 250 g water, lukewarm
8.5 dl / 550 g wheat flour
1 packet (11 g) active dry yeast
2 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
4 tbsp rapeseed oil
2 eggs
1 egg, for brushing before baking
butter, melted, for brushing after baking
Instructions
1. Mix all ingredients together and knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it is smooth and soft.
2. Let the dough rise for 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.
3. Divide the dough into 9 portions and shape into balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
4. Brush the balls with egg and bake in the middle of the oven at 180 °C (convection) for 15-20 minutes until the buns are beautifully browned.
5. Remove the buns from the oven and immediately brush with melted butter. Let cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
